Christina Pylonitis

Christina Pylonitis is a PhD candidate in Prof. Dr. Meyer's team at the Department of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. As part of her PhD project, she is investigating the role of 'arguing' in the development of global citizenship.

Besides her research, she teaches the M.Ed. seminar "TEFL II: Arguing for Global Citizenship" as well as an accompanying course to Prof. Dr. Meyer's master seminar, "TEFL I: Media in the EFL Classroom," where future teachers learn how to incorporate a variety of meaningful educational technologies into their development of deeper learning episodes.
